Buoyed by triumphant performances at the Reading and Leeds Festival, FIGHTING FICTION announce new tour dates for the next few months.

Bringing with them a small army of fans the tent continued to fill up throughout the half hour set, their infectious punk rock drawing festival go-ers in. By the end of their slot – they were playing to a busy and enthusiastic crowd who left new recruits to the Fighting Fiction fanbase.

Earlier this summer Fighting Fiction revealed the first single from their Mark Williams (Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, Million Dead, Oceansize) produced debut album. ‘Rock 'n' Roll is Dead and its Corpse is for Sale’ gained plays on Radio 1 and rave reviews in specialist music press thanks to its thought provoking lyrics and catchy refrains.

Speaking of the single and forthcoming album frontman Jacob Glew says "This is an album conceived over weekends and late nights in living rooms and start up studios, we've spent every hour we have spare pouring ourselves into these ten songs to make them the best they can possibly be, they're personal and political, recorded by our friend and fantastic producer Mark Williams and played by us to the best of our ability we want every note and word to sound like we meant them, because we did".

More information to come soon!

“(Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Dead And Its Corpse Is For Sale) is a tantalizing taste of things to come.” Big Cheese
“...Fighting Fiction, in whose sharp songwriting there is something identifiably British, and they cling to them with their fingernails, giving them a careering thrill.” - Kerrang!
"Stormin' Norman! Tight punchy playing and production with warped off-kilter lyrics in the great English tradition of songs like Arnold Layne and Tracy Jacks. A storming track." - Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music)
"Unapologetically catchy and with a social conscience that yells rather than speaks to all, Fighting Fiction immediately crave your attention, capturing you from the first rush of jingle fused beats and failing to relinquish their hold until the last burst of gang led vocals truly ensnares. More than promising, this is a band that you need to discover now!" 12/13 Room Thirteen
